Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Tuesday called for allegiance to the constitution for progress of the country. Addressing the opening ceremony of a documentary on the life of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto at National Library here, Prime Minister Gilani said “when we talk about the constitution, system and law, we talk about the federation.”“Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto brought in the people’s rule in the country and we would go ahead with his mission,” the prime minister said. “We will remain in the power to serve the people otherwise we won’t rule the country,” he said. Gilani said the media should serve as the opposition to pinpoint the mistakes adding that the government fully committed to the freedom of media. The prime minister said he and his cabinet would work hard to fulfill the expectations of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari adding that he has came to serve the people.
“It is honor for me to attend the inauguration of documentary on the life of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.”The documentary was produced on the instructions of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
