Four killed in Tirah Valley clashes

Four people were killed as fighting resumes in Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency, a private TV channel reported. Tribal elders after holding talks with Lashkar-e-Islam chief Mangal Bagh, returned to Khyber Agency and submitted details of the meeting to the political administration. Government will issue the meeting’s details on Saturday.
As the jirga members left the Tirah valley, fighting between two rival groups started, leaving four people dead. Curfew was also relaxed in Bara on Friday. At least 220 people have so far been arrested during operation in Peshawar and its surrounding areas and a large cache of weapons have also been recovered. Residents of Kurram Agency are facing food shortage as Peshawar-Para central highway and other roads still remain closed.
