The country beset with the power crisis is passing through a grim situation, as the prolonged power outage and unannounced load shedding has further compounded the day-to-day problems of the people.

The interior of Sindh including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Kandhkot, Shikarpur besides other towns/cities witnessing day and night load shedding stretching up to 8/10 hours, hitting the trades, industries and above all the normal lives of the citizens, who inter alia are suffering particularly from the acute shortage of water.

Hesco sources told that the load shedding for 6/8 hours was being resorted to in different areas including Mirpurkhas, while the people have complained of high voltage fluctuations damaging their valuable electrical gadgets.

On the other hand, Punjab cities Faisalabad, Jhang, Mianwali, Okara, Tobatek Singh, Sheikhupura, Bhakkar, Multan, Rahimyar Khan and Bhawalpur also remained beleaguered by lingering unannounced load shedding, as it has not only affected the business community, but also rendered the daily-wage workers jobless. The cities/towns are braving 7/9 hours of power outage daily, while the rural areas for over 9 hours.
