CJ Dogar constitutes six benches of SC for next weekChief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar constituted six benches of the Supreme Court for next week commencing from April 14 (Monday) for the hearing of hundreds of cases at Islamabad including election matters and NAB cases besides others. According to the cause list issued here on Saturday by the fixture department of the Supreme Court for next week, benches are comprising Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, Justice Chaudhry Ijaz Yousuf and Muhammad Farrukh Mehmood (Bench-I), Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi, Justice Ejaz-ul-Hassan Khan and Justice Mian Hamid Farooq (Bench-II), Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar, Justice Muhammad Akhtar Shabbir and Justice Zia Pervez (Bench-III) Justice M.Javed Buttar and Justice Syed Sakhi Hussain Bukhari (Bench-VI), Justice Saiyed Saeed Ashhad and Justice Syed Zawwar Hussain Jaffery (Bench V) and Justice Qaim Jan Khan, Justice Moosa K.Leghari and Justice Sheikh Hakim Ali (Bench-IV) will hear hundreds of cases including service matters, bail matters, tax matters, election matters, NAB case and others at Islamabad. However, Bench No. IV will not sit on April 14 (Monday). The fixture department has already mentioned on the top of cause list that “No application for adjournment through fax will be placed before the court. If the counsel is unable to appear for any reason the Advocate-on-Record will be required to argue the case.”
