CEC takes serious notice: police officers’ transfers in Sindh

The Chief Election Commission, Qazi Muhammad Farooq, has taken serious notice of the large-scale postings/transfers of police officers in Sindh, after issuance of Election Schedule. He said the transferred was ordered despite the ban imposed by the Election Commission of Pakistan. The Chief Election Commission has directed the Inspector-General of Police, Sindh, to intimate to the Election Commission how many transfers/ postings of police officers have been made till date after the issuance of Election Schedule.
