The price of oil items remains unrevised as the Ministry of Petroleum hasn’t issued a notification for a reduction in the petroleum levy.
In numerous cities across Pakistan, oil is still being sold at the March 1 price despite orders from Pm Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to roll back prices to the February 28 levels.
OGRA had withdrawn its March 1 POL price-hikes by publishing a new notification as per which the prices of petrol was cut to Rs103.07/litre from Rs106.60, high speed diesel to Rs109.21 from Rs113.56/litre and kerosene to Rs99.90 from Rs103.69/litre effective March 3.
