Over 50 suspects arrested from Lyari

City police and rangers during the joint raids have arrested over 50 suspected from Saddar Town and Lyari on Saturday. DIG South Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon has confirmed arrest of at least 53 persons during joint raids carried out by police and rangers from Saddar Town and Lyari localities while more crackdowns have been anticipated in consequence of indication of arrested suspects, sources added.

Unknown assailants have shot dead another 11 persons amidst last 36 hours from separate parts here in metropolis while according to police calculation, the death toll by target killings in Karachi has risen to 25 persons.
