US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Richard Boucher is scheduled to hold talks with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Muhammad Nawaz Sharif here on Tuesday.
Boucher, who arrived in Islamabad on Monday to hold talks with Pakistani officials regarding situation in tribal areas and other bilateral issues, is reaching Lahore today in the second phase of his ongoing visit to major ally of U.S. in its ‘war on terror’.
Boucher would discuss reinstatement of deposed judges and various other issues with PML-N chief during his meeting.
Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and senior leader PML-N Chohdry Nisar Ali Khan would also accompany Nawaz during talks.
