ATC grants bail to Aziz in seven cases out of eight

The Judge of the Anti terrorism Court (ATC) No 1, Ch. Habib ur Rehman here on Tuesday granted bail to Moulana Abdul Aziz former chief cleric of Lal Masjid, in seven out of eight different cases and also issued orders for his release with two deposits of Rs. 5 million however, bail was not granted to him in children Library case.Meanwhile, the defence lawyers including Shaukat Aziz, Wajih Ullah, Imran Shafique advocates, of Moulana Abdul Aziz have declared to seek bail from the High Court in Children Library case.Now bail has been granted to Moulana Abdul Aziz in 25 out of 26 cases.Besides the lawyers, Umme Hassan, Umme Dua and Tayyaba wife and daughters of Moulana Abdul Aziz, Humera Rashid widow of Ghazi Abdul Rashid were also present in the court. Moulana Abdul Aziz was arrested by the Islamabad Police under 16 MPO for allegedly involved in eight cases including Murder of rangers at Aabpara, kidnapping of Chinese, and police personnel and aunty Shamim burning of CDs at shops and other cases.
