4 militants killed in Bajaur operation

Four militants were killed and several injured during security forces operation in different parts of Bajaur Agency.

According to sources, security forces targeted militants hideouts overnight in tehsil Nawagai, Chaharmang, Cheenar and Zorband. Four militants were killed and several injured during the operation. As many bunkers were also destroyed during the action.

Meanwhile, jets pounded militants positions on Saturday morning, however, no loss of life was reported.

On the other hand, security has been tightened in Bajaur Agency and heavy contingents of Levies have been deployed in different parts of the agency.

National lashkar of Mamond tribe has given ultimatum to militants to leave the area till tonight.
